Although spring is not the best time to hunt roe deer, as they have food in the bush and hardly come out, we still decided to give it a try.
The first afternoon of hunting in Spain we did not manage to shoot as all the animals we saw were either young or females and it was not until late in the afternoon when they started to come out of the bush.
However, the next morning, it was not long before we saw this old roe deer eating peacefully in a field. After a perfect approach, we managed to shoot him at 80 meters and the animal fell on the spot.
A beautiful roe deer trophy and also an old animal that could hardly see due to the after-effects of an eye disease.
