What to Expect from a Beceite Ibex Hunting Experience
A Beceite Ibex guided hunt is a true mountain adventure that begins at dawn, when the first light hits the rocky terrain of this unique region of eastern Spain. Depending on the hunter’s preferences and physical condition, we typically hunt in one of two ways.
This ibex hunting is very comfortable since our hunting areas are only an hour and a half away from Valencia airport, and we will be hosting in Teruel city, a nice city with nice hotels and restaurants.
The first method is to drive to a high vantage point where we can glass large areas of terrain. Once we locate a group of ibex and identify a mature trophy that meets the expectations of the hunter, we begin the stalk—carefully and strategically closing the distance. The second approach is to park the vehicle and start hiking into areas where, thanks to our scouting and deep knowledge of the region, we know Beceite ibex are likely to be.
We usually spend most of the day in the mountains, fully equipped with everything we need in our Toyota: cold drinks, food for all tastes, and all the gear required for a full-day hunt.
However, depending on how the day progresses and the hunter’s preferences, we can also take a well-deserved lunch break in one of the charming restaurants in the small villages scattered throughout the Beceite mountains.
At the end of the hunting day, we head to the historic city of Teruel, where our guests can unwind and enjoy the best local cuisine.
