In November and with the rut at its highest point, we went for a Sierra Nevada ibex or Southeastern ibex.
We went out to hunt in the afternoon since we had to make the trip in the morning and it didn’t take us long to locate a Southeastern ibex that matched what we were looking for.
It took us half an hour to get close and after a shot at 300 meters the hunter followed us with his third Spanish ibex. With the Gredos ibex, the Beceite ibex and now the Sierra Nevada ibex, only the Ronda ibex was left to complete the 4 subspecies.
